Psalm 29

I especially like Psalm 29:11, as these storms should bring a feeling of peace to those who are not wicked. They're a lesson in many things, including humbleness.

Noah and the Ark, the Great Flood.
God made it rain for 40 days and 40 nights, but first he asked Noah to build an ark. Noah prophesied ( received supernatural information from God about a future event that had yet to happen ) Noah and the Ark and the great flood is the most obvious biblical proof that God controls the weather. Other verses indicate that he speaks through it.
Psalm 18:5-15 NIV
In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help.
